Miixing-Up Real Estate Speculation + Politics > What Fun, Huh?

Say What?
Take a look at the new cover of Compass Magazine, a publication of The Times Media Group put out by The Mesa Chamber of Commerce that's registered as a non-profit organization with the Arizona Corporate Commission.
Perhaps the Office of The  Arizona State Attorney General - or an Arizona investigative reporter other than your MesaZona blogger - might want to look into what could be "stepping-over-the-line" here to publish A STAKEHOLDERS PROSPECTUS for a private development existing only-on-paper here in Mesa's historic district by a publicly-elected State Legislator doing some real estate speculation on-the-side of his official duties to serve the interests of the public in the conduct of his office.
Bob Worsley, seen in the image to the right, registered a limited liability corporation (LLC) with the ACC named MACDevLLC in June 2017 at his home address here in Mesa with a principal partner Ranches of America.
Is that a conflict of interest capitalizing on real estate holding while on the public payroll? The question needs to be asked.
The mag calls itself "Mesa, Arizona Resource Guide 2018" at the same time printed on the cover in bold red typeface that it is a Stakeholders Prospectus. . .
WHAT IS A PROSPECTUS?
prospectus
Legally mandated document published by every firm offering its securities to public for purchase. It must comply with strict legal requirements and is filed for approval with the country's securities inspectorate such as the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) of the US, . . .
A prospectus must disclose essential information such as:
(1) firm's objectives
(3) background and qualification of principal officers
(5) projected financial statements
(6) assumptions underlying the projections,
(7) foreseeable risks to the firm,
(8) offering price on the stock (shares)
(9) (in case of bonds and notes) how the interest and principal will be paid.

Dr. Strangelove: Psychotic Thriller By Stanley Kubrick

Visions of future past flash back to haunt us from this comedy produced in 1964. At that point-in-time your MesaZona blogger's past life part-time job while in high school was as an usher at a college movie theater.
One of the benefits in that position was the opportunity to watch every movie appearing in the big screen - at a tender young age this was an eye-opening introduction to the genius of Stanley Kubrick . . .  and now some 50+ years on it serves as a visual reminder of some current "news" in the first year of fear and chaos here in the United States circa 2017-2018
Vera Lynn - We'll Meet Again (Dr. Strangelove Ending Updated)
Published on Apr 14, 2017
Here's an updated version of the ending to Stanley Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove (1964) to the song "We'll Meet Again" by Vera Lynn. It features declassified HD film footage of some of the 331 atmospheric nuclear tests conducted by the United States between 1945 and 1962. Vera Lynn is still alive and turned 100 last month.

By combining the visible and infrared capabilities of the Hubble and Spitzer space telescopes, astronomers and visualization specialists from NASA’s Universe of Learning program have created a spectacular, three-dimensional, fly-through movie of the magnificent Orion nebula, a nearby stellar nursery. Using actual scientific data along with Hollywood techniques, a team at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, Maryland, and the Caltech/IPAC in Pasadena, California, has produced the best and most detailed multi-wavelength visualization yet of the Orion nebula.

Here's an article.  ______
ULA Successfully Launches NROL-47 Mission for the NRO

"A United Launch Alliance (ULA) Delta IV rocket carrying a payload for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) lifted off from Space Launch Complex-6 on Jan. 12 at 2:11 p.m. PST. Designated NROL-47, the mission is in support of national defense.
“As the nation’s most trustworthy launch provider, today’s launch exemplifies ULA’s ongoing commitment to 100 percent mission success,” said Will Crawford, ULA’s NRO program manager. “My sincere thanks to the entire ULA team and our mission partners at the NRO and U.S. Air Force who made this, our 27th NRO launch, possible.”
This mission was launched aboard a Delta IV Medium+ (5, 2) configuration Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle (EELV) powered by one common booster core and two solid rocket motors built by Orbital ATK. The common booster core was powered by an RS-68A liquid hydrogen/liquid oxygen engine. A single RL10B-2 liquid hydrogen/liquid oxygen engine powered the second stage. The booster and upper stage engines are both built by Aerojet Rocketdyne. ULA constructed the Delta IV Medium+ (5,2) launch vehicle in Decatur, Alabama. . .
This is ULA’s first launch in 2018 and the 124th successful launch since the company was formed in December 2006. It was also the 36th flight of the Delta IV rocket since its inaugural launch in 2002.
The EELV program was established by the U.S. Air Force to provide assured access to space for Department of Defense and other government payloads. The commercially developed EELV program supports the full range of government mission requirements, while delivering on schedule and providing significant cost savings over the legacy launch systems.
ULA's next launch is the Space Based Infrared System (SBIRS) GEO Flight 4 mission for the U.S. Air Force on an Atlas V rocket. The launch is scheduled for Jan. 18 from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla.

What's Next Mesa? Now We Know The Theatrics For Mesa Mayor John Giles #SOTC18

Here It Is > somebody call the SWAT team and have these dudes detained and held in preventive detention for impersonating fictional characters on television . . . . Please!

Last year's John Giles State-Of-The-City Speech had this gimmick:
Who can forget this major public relations disaster????????????

"SQUAD" IS WAITING FOR YOU
Last week, the Mayor shared a group shot of the Mesa City Council with the hashtag #squadgoals. Register today and be there to find out what the big news for Mesa is in 2018.

Who thinks up these stunts anyway????????????????

It's Out! ...Back-Alley Rendering of Architectural Fantasy

Hard-to-Believe the Mesa Chamber Commerce of Commerce is "jumping the gun" with the choice of this figment-of-the imagination drawn-up by the schemes of a private real estate developer (and AZ State Politician) to capitalize on his closely-held holding companies and cohorts of "friends-in-high-places" in the generations-old political machine who made a monopoly-game on Main Street here in Mesa.
it's just another :Pie-In-The-Sky Dream"that would radically transform The New Urban Downtown Mesa.

A 14-15 story building plopped-down on top of a 1-acre parking lot is way out-of-place and way out-of-scale in Mesa's unique historic district.
It's not a pretty picture and it is not real.

It's real estate speculation way short of public benerfits
