Planning & Zoning Board: 2 Sessions This Week: Wed 13 May 2020 3:00 pm

Here's a clue: way too often meetings of this group take place "under-the-radar".
The study sessions have not been broadcast.
One item THE PLANNING DIRECTOR'S UPDATE usually has no record available to the public - and usually never appears in the approved Minutes.

Here's the P & Z Board Meeting from April 22, 2020 - it's only about 6 minutes long. You can see how there's is a spill-over to Wednesday's meetings as well as a requested continuance to May 27th

Ready got this Paradise Valley Cover Story?

By Michelle Glicksman | CityLifestyle.com
The year 2020 marks the 20th anniversary of Rose Law Group, the largest woman-owned law firm in Arizona’s history.

National LISC Updates In The Age of The COVID-19 Pandemic

HERE ARE TWO OF MOST RECENT STORIES
Posted by on 7 May, 2020
An article in the Stanford Social Innovation Review lays out what nonprofits must do to ramp up their social impact, economic viability and capacity to bring about positive change in the wake of the pandemic. Compassionate leadership, says LISC CEO Maurice A. Jones in the piece, is the overarching approach that can make all the difference in how nonprofits function during and after the crisis.

In an op-ed for Philadelphia's local PBS and NPR affiliate, LISC Philly executive director Andrew Frishkoff and housing program officer Carolyn Placke stress the importance of keeping people housed, and shoring up the groups that develop and manage affordable housing, in the Covid-19 era. Government at all levels, together with CDFIs, they argue, must activate emergency rental assistance and financial and capacity support for affordable housing managers in order to protect vulnerable residents and facilitate economy recovery.
