Merz TURNS AGAINST Ursula And BLAMES The EU For Germany's Problems 

Bloomberg has reported that Friedrich Merz is trying to bring the power from Brussels back to Berlin.

Bloomberg has reported that in a speech to the business community, Merz has criticised Ursula von Der Leyen for her policy on climate, trade and defence. 

He has also accused the EU of overreach and has stated that the situation cannot continue. 

 

Friedrich Merz comes under increased pressure in Germany, as Germany is losing it’s industrial base and competitiveness on the world stage. 

 

Dmitry Peskov and Dmitry Medvedev have both warned the EU in regards to taking the Russian frozen assets and giving it to Ukraine. 

 

Finnish PM Petteri Orpo has stated that the EU must stand united and invest together, as Russia poses a danger to all of Europe. 

• He also advocates for the EU to become a defence power.
