In 2020, Daily Kos recruited over 100,000 volunteers from our community to help turn out the vote using innovative tools and a wide variety of proven Get Out The Vote methods. Our goal is to repeat what we did in 2020: Recruit over 100,000 volunteers that connect with over a million voters and support Democratic candidates up and down the ballot.
Unfortunately, Daily Kos has far fewer financial resources now than we did in 2020, and a Get Out the Vote campaign is not cheap. We are estimating that between the technology costs, staff time, and the expense of recruiting volunteers, our GOTV efforts will cost us nearly $200,000.
