As reported by Ram Reports on August 3, 2024, Iran has recently installed several Russian long-range electronic warfare systems, including the Murmansk-BN, in strategic locations across the country. The Murmansk-BN system, one of Russia's most powerful jamming communication systems, can conduct radio reconnaissance, intercept, and suppress enemy signals throughout the short-wave range, with an operational reach of up to 5,000 to 8,000 kilometers.

On July 31, 2024, the Royal Thai Navy Auditorium in Bangkok Yai was the venue for the Navy Research 2024 exhibition, a major event organized by the Naval Research and Development Office (NRDO) of the Royal Thai Navy (RTN). During this event, Chaiseri Metal & Rubber Co. Ltd. showcased its new 8x8 Armoured Wheeled Amphibious Vehicle (AWAV), specially designed for the Royal Thai Marine Corps (RTMC). On August 4, 2024, North Korea announced the deployment of 250 Hwasong-11D ballistic missile launchers to its southern border, marking the first time the country has publicly disclosed such a large-scale transfer of arms to its border units. A bill proposed by the government to the Bulgarian parliament includes purchasing one IRIS-T SLM battery with an option to acquire up to five additional batteries, as well as one IRIS-T SLX battery.
