Developed by the French company FLY-R, the fixed-wing drone was launched at sea and controlled in real-time by the crew onboard, executing a series of complex maneuvers around a simulated mobile maritime target during a live trial.

According to information published by the Liberty Times Next on July 5, 2025, Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense has officially confirmed an extensive expansion of its artillery modernization program, approving the acquisition of 168 M109A7 155mm tracked self-propelled howitzers from the United States. Germany Considers Largest Armored Vehicle Order with 600 Tanks and 1,000 Wheeled Combat Vehicles

According to information published by the German newspaper Handelsblatt on June 30, 2025, Germany is undertaking a massive transformation of its armed forces, driven by the ongoing security crisis in Eastern Europe and the war in Ukraine.  
At the center of this strategic pivot is a multibillion-euro procurement program involving the acquisition of up to 1,000 Boxer wheeled armored vehicles, 600 Leopard 2A8 main battle tanks, and a significant number of Puma infantry fighting vehicles. 
This initiative, revealed by Alexander Sagel, CEO of German defense manufacturer Renk, represents one of the most significant rearmament efforts in the country’s post-Cold War history and reflects a fundamental reassessment of Germany’s defense posture.

On July 2, 2025, Japan’s Ministry of Defense held the naming and launching ceremony for the eleventh unit of the Mogami-class frigate series at Mitsui E&S Shipbuilding’s Tamano Shipyard in Okayama Prefecture. The new ship was officially named JS Tatsuta, continuing the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF)’s tradition of naming ships after rivers. Following the launch, JS Tatsuta will proceed to fitting out and sea trials before commissioning into the JMSDF.
