Alan M. Berger is the Norman B. and Muriel Leventhal Professor of Advanced Urbanism at MIT, and founding codirector of both the Norman B. Leventhal Center for Advanced Urbanism and the P-REX Lab at MIT. Joel Kotkin is the presidential fellow in Urban Futures at Chapman University in Orange, California, and executive director of the Houston-based Center for Opportunity Urbanism. Celina Balderas Guzman is an urban designer and planner, an environmental urbanist, and a research associate at the Norman B. Leventhal Center for Advanced Urbanism at MIT.
