High Pollution Ozone Warning + Excessive Heats

The previously issued Ozone High Pollution Advisory for today will remain in effect and be extended for Tuesday, May 26th.
Friday, high pressure’s grip on the Desert Southwest bolsters and another Ozone High Pollution Advisory is possible.
Please keep in mind that although ozone fluctuates daily, the week in Phoenix is going to get progressively hotter! Eventually, the 110 degree realm is likely.

The National Weather Service is covering that aspect in detail. They have issued a host of heat related warnings

Forecast Discussion:

Decent air quality so far this holiday weekend! Mild mornings followed by warm, but seasonable, afternoons and breeziness have been the constants in the Phoenix metropolitan. Today, you may notice a rise in temperatures (yes, back to the 100s again) and paring back of breezes. The weather pattern is undertaking a large-scale transition in favor of high pressure ridging. Winds bounded by the surface and 10,000 feet begin to subside. Between that and plenty of sunshine the environment supports an upward trend for ozone. The previously issued Ozone High Pollution Advisory for today will remain in effect and be extended for Tuesday, May 26th.

High pressure development becomes censored briefly on Wednesday and Thursday with a passing low pressure wave in the Great Basin country near Utah. For us, the afternoon mountain-valley circulation strengthens in response to a tighter pressure gradient facilitating our wind speeds. The faster daytime westerly flow limits peak ozone residency time over any one location, so we are forecasting a corresponding drop in maximum 8-hour average ozone values below the health standard midweek.

They have issued a host of heat related warnings.

Enjoy the rest of the holiday! Stay cool, hydrated, and safe traveling if making your way back to the city after the long weekend.

"Classified Missions" > or part of DARPA with Mysterious PayLoads?

Initially . . . there were mysteries and crazy conspiracy theories
1.06M subscribers

"For the last 10 years the US Air Force has been flying a small reusable space plane designated the X-37B, carrying out classified missions in low Earth orbit. This of course makes it something of a magnet for crazy conspiracy theories suggesting it's a weapons platform or it's changing the weather. However it was always pitched as a reusable platform to perform extended experiments in space starting back when it was a joint project with NASA. But NASA left the project after developing new flight control sensors and algorithms, because the purpose of the final product largely replicated capabilities already offered by the Space Station. The DoD had similar testing requirements with the extra constraint of keeping the hardware and tests classified, so, the X-37B offers them this capability."

Get A Clue To What Really Happened: Why Did NASA's Head Of Human Spaceflight Resign Just Before Historic Launch?

Did Boeing have any thing to with it?
"Last Monday NASA announced that Doug Loverro, head of human spaceflight at NASA was resigning only 6 months after starting the job, and just over a week before the historic return to flight for the human spaceflight program. We know it's not related to the Commercial Crew Program and is going to have no effect on the upcoming launch, but we don't have much in the way of concrete information to go on. Right now the theory is that this is related to the procurement of the Human landing system, but we could be wrong."

New City of Zion: Plans For The Upper Kingdom (Utah). Here in Arizona (The Lower Kingdom of Deseret) A Different Pattern

IS THIS THE PATTERN FOR THE NEW CITY OF ZION?
Steve Romney, the president of the Church's Real Estate and Land Development, (Suburban Land Reserve) said the following in  a news article, “In addition to contributing to needed utility infrastructure around the temple, this community will help protect the temple and create a place where people can enjoy the setting of this sacred building in ways that are important and meaningful to them.”
The LDS Church released today their proposal to develop a community that includes hundreds of homes and a 55-plus adult community around the newly announced Temple in Tooele, Utah.

Suburban Land Reserve,Inc > More Plans For Sub-Division Plats @ "Mesa & Main Redevelopment Phase 2"

Proposed plans to add 2 additional blocks for 12 townhomes + 10 townhomes and 6 detached single residences are on the Final Agenda for today's meeting of the Mesa City Council.
The Study Session starts at 5:15 p.m. with a review of items on the agenda for the regular council meeting scheduled to begin a half-and-hour later at 5:45 p.m.
Attachments for Items 9-c and 9-d are inserted below where the owner of the plats is listed as Suburban Land Reserve, Inc.
"Mesa & Main Redevopment" is the phrase used by the City of Mesa for the currently under-construction 10-acre retail-residential-commercial project located on the SEC Mesa Drive/Main Street adjacent to the 20-acre Mesa Temple.
It's been controversial from the start when plans were first 'revealed' back in February 2018 that were fast-tracked through the development and approval process. All throughout there were NO FINANCIAL DISCLOSURES EVER DISCLOSED TO THE PUBLIC.
2. Many might be surprised to know that the LDS church is the largest non-governmental land owner in the US.
It is not unusual for the Church to buy land. It normally does so through its primary corporate entity, the Corporation of the Presiding Bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  news article
In a recent fireside at our stake, a Church employee spoke and shared with us that the Church builds more square footage in United States than Walmart. I don't know what the Church's exact square footage is, but as of January 31, 2014,  Walmart  has built almost 1 billion square feet. ( 723,385,669 square feet to be exact) stats
Last week,  Suburban Land Reserve (one of the real estate arms of the Church) met with the City Council to propose a preliminary Planned Unit Development (PUD) in Herriman.  The LDS Church owns 300 acres in Herriman approximately at 6801 W 11800 South.  and hopes to get approval to subdivide the land into 2,549 home building lots. (Minutes to the City Council Mtg.)
A few years ago, "The Mormon Church has purchased a major chunk of undeveloped property in overbuilt Maricopa from two major home builders.
Property Reserve Inc., a real-estate holding company owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, paid home builders Fulton Homes Corp. and Shea Homes for Active Adults a combined $72 million in October for about 1,900 acres of virgin land in the Pinal County city, 35 miles south of Phoenix." LDS Purchases Maricopa land from builders in Arizona
While a developing land to subdivide into home lots is one thing, when I learned that the Church has land with plans to develop an entire new city, I was really surprised . . ."

A Flash-Back to June 10, 2018: Coulda, Woulda . . . It's A Done Deal

Massive Mesa Mormon Temple Make-Over Plan could transform downtown MesaEast Valley Tribune Report by Jim Walsh reproduced by Rose Law Group Reporter
"An extensive renovation of the iconic Mesa Arizona Temple has the potential of becoming a catalyst for the transformation of the city’s downtown. Using Pioneer Park* and the revamped Temple as its anchor, that transformation could attract an unparalleled revival, saidMaricopa County Supervisor and East Valley Partnership President Denny Barney.
Iconic figure from Monopoly
“We’re talking about tens of millions of dollars in private investment down there,’’Barney said. “I think this will be a catalyst for future investment. . . "
RIGHT DENNY! . . . but we'll never know since no financial details were ever revealed.

Blogger Footnote: The original Parks Bond budget approved figure for the renovation of Pioneer Park was $5.9 Million dollars that somehow doubled to $12 Million$ while the eastward Gilbert Road Extension of Valley Metro Light Rail Service was in-progress. One public report stated that the architect for the temple's redevelopment area 'worked with' planners, possibly for the underground installation of city-owned utilities infrastructure.

Below is the plot map showing all the lots that will be for sale. I assume with all the different size lots that there will be price ranges from expensive lots for the affluent to smaller lots for the modest income families. I labeled them accordingly.
