Water is the most precious commodity here in the desert in The Valley of The Sun, whether it's drawn from The Salt River or The Colorado River through a system of open canals [where the evaporation rate is about 40%] or through underground pipes that meter water allocations for 'water rights', or pumping deeper and deeper into ever-lowering underground aquifers. Where we live has been under DROUGHT conditions for the last 18 years, while cities continue to build-out more and more residential and industrial 'growth' - and data centers - placing more demand on water usage.
