Arizona's 9th Congressional District was a battleground district in 2014. Incumbent Kyrsten Sinema faced no challenger in the Democratic primary. In the Republican primary, Wendy Rogers triumphed over Andrew Walter. Sinema defeated Rogers and Libertarian Powell Gammill in the general election on November 4, 2014.
