U.S. Central Command claimed that its naval helicopters sank three Houthi boats. The action came in response to a bid by Houthis to hijack a container vessel in the Southern Red Sea. Centcom said the attack by the U.S. Navy helicopters killed Houthi gunmen aboard the three boats. Centcom reported that a merchant vessel - Maersk Hangzhou - was attacked by four boats.
