US strikes on Iraqi military positions are a ‘hostile act’: Baghdad
We reported earlier that the US had launched strikes against targets in Iraq linked to Kataib Hezbollah following a drone attack on US forces in Erbil.
Baghdad has since condemned these attacks on Iraqi military positions that reportedly killed one Iraqi serviceman and wounded 18 other people.

Israel will ‘pay’ for killing of IRGC adviser: Iran
Iran’s Defense Ministry has said Israel “will pay the price” for the killing of Sayyed Razi Mousavi, a member of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), in an air attack in Syria.
“Our response will be strict and effective, but will not provide room for any Israeli exploitation,” the ministry’s statement said.
Mousavi was a senior adviser in the IRGC, responsible for coordinating the military alliance between Syria and Iran.
The strike comes amid fears that Israel’s war with Hamas in Gaza could expand into a wider regional conflict, pulling in Iran-backed groups such as Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
