The preliminary agenda of the next council meeting is posted at this site approximately four days before a council meeting and the final agenda, which incorporates any last minute changes to the preliminary agenda, usually is posted at this site the morning of the council meeting. Today, the City of Mesa Office of Economic Development launched the new and improved Business Districts Opportunity Maps, a visual representation of investment activity, assets and development opportunities in four of Mesa's key employment centers while there are six areas included with links to .pdf information.
 Data for population figures in the labor market within a 20-minute or 30-minute commute if that's a consideration for you. What may be of more interest in recruiting or hiring employees are the shocking and low educational attainment levels - less than 20% are high school graduates - less than 25% have some college - less than 45% have an associate's degree Business Districts / Maps Mesa has a diverse economy with multiple business districts including Downtown Mesa, Falcon District, Fiesta District, Superstition Freeway Corridor, Mesa Riverview and the Mesa Gateway area. All Mesa’s districts have the necessary infrastructure and attributes to help businesses succeed, yet each also has a unique set of qualities that are especially suited for specific industry segments and business needs.
