China is welcoming four leaders from Barbados, Mongolia, New Zealand and Vietnam, all on official visits to the country. They will also attend the Summer Davos Forum in Tianjin, a city just outside Beijing. According to Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning, the four are important cooperation partners of Beijing and all sides hope to further mutual trust and expand cooperation across various fields. Specifically for New Zealand, over the course of more than half a century, relations between the two sides have enjoyed sound and steady growth, and China remains to be the country's biggest trading partner today.
