Explosions rang out in the industrial hub of Kryvyi Rih after the Russian Tu-22M3 strategic bombers launched missiles from the area of the Sea of Azov.
This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to the head of the city military administration, Oleksandr Vilkul, and a number of monitoring platforms.
"Kryvyi Rih. Explosions. We don't film anything and neither do we post anything on the internet," Vilkul wrote.
He also called on the city's residents to remain in shelters or follow the two-wall safety rule.
"Repeated launches targeting our city," Vilkul reported.
Meanwhile, the Air Force Command reported the launch of Russia’s Kh-22 missiles in the direction of Kirovohrad region from the waters of the Sea of Azov.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, in Kyiv and a number of regions across Ukraine, an air raid alert went off after midnight.
