Ground-Breaking for 96,000 Sq Ft New Speculative Light Industrial Facility

A groundbreaking ceremony was held today for Falcon Field Business Center, 3110 N. Greenfield Road, a 96,000-square foot speculative industrial facility designed to attract manufacturing and/or distribution users to the Falcon Field District. 
Blogger Note: When there's demand for so much more industrial space, this is a speculative investment that's been months and years in development (see below after presser)
Not speculating at all Mesa Mayor John Giles gets right to promoting the project, saying
"Falcon Field Business Center will be an excellent addition to Mesa, . . The decision by EastGroup Properties to bring a new light industrial facility for aerospace and defense companies to the Falcon Field District is a great endorsement of our business-friendly environment."
The development will be located near Falcon Field Airport, Boeing, and the Loop 202, providing easy access to all parts of the valley. Please see image above for area map

Willmeng Construction breaks ground on Falcon Field Business Center
With high demand for quality industrial buildings in the East Valley, EastGroup Properties, Phoenix, announced the groundbreaking of Falcon Field Business Center Tuesday, Nov. 28.
The 98,643-square-foot building, located at 3110 N. Greenfield Road, is being constructed by Willmeng Construction and designed by Butler Design Group. 
The industrial space is owned and managed by EastGroup Properties, Phoenix, and is expected to be completed by mid-May 2018.
The Koss Louer team of Lee & Associates Arizona is responsible for the leasing on behalf of EastGroup.
“This site is desirable because it’s in an infill around major transportation features such as airports and freeways, and also around major employers,” said Mike Sacco, vice president of EastGroup Properties. “Falcon Field Business Center has been designed with sustainable features to provide operating efficiencies and the foundation for a comfortable, green working environment for its future occupants. We have designed this building to attract aerospace, defense, light assembly, distribution and ecommerce businesses.”
