^^HEADS UP^^ HUGE AGENDA for Very Important Mesa City Council Meeting Mon 21 May 2018

This is the time to get more informed, active, and engaged with the government you elected.
IT'S
YOUR
GOVERNMENTYou pay their salaries
It's not the government of "Special Interests" - It's your government and these officials deserve your attention.
People who live here in Mesa and taxpayers are faced with major issues city-wide and in every district as the City Budget is under review for the next Fiscal Year. They can impact your cost-of-living and quality of life with millions of dollars on-the-table: your money.
One BIG ISSUE goes back to the 2106 General Election when taxpayers overwhelmingly rejected a ballot item for a proposal that would have forced you to pay more transaction and sales taxes. There's no change in the 2016 plans to try to do the entire thing that taxpayers rejected - City Manager Chris Brady wants to hit you up hiking fees/charges for city utilities to finance schemes to profit private developers on the backs of taxpayers. Do you get that??????????????
It takes some work to drive you to the point before it's too late and you don't know about it

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO LOOK AT WHAT'S ON THE AGENDA FOR MONDAY.
The Mesa City Council sets policies based on the input and needs of its citizens.
. . . people, not leaders, are what makes a City great.
Are these leaders meeting your expectations? Do you know how to contact them to give them your input?
To the right is an image of the Mesa City Council posted by Mesa Mayor John Giles and his public relations office.
What's this supposed-to-be??
Shades of Gray & Men-in-Black or what??
"Jivin' John & The Six-Pack"
QUESTION: Are they all gonna fall -in-step?
If you live in District 4, represented by Chris Glover, the dude buttoning his jacket, give him a call to give him your input.
