Pardon me, your MesaZona blogger for bringing up the subject, but aren't taxpayers who pay the staff salaries for inside City Hall reporting entitled to more fair and balanced news and information?

Grand opening for Apple's Arizona Data and Global Command Center in Mesa

"Mesa Mayor John Giles was joined by Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, Apple Vice President of Global Real Estate and Facilities Kristina Raspe and Site Operations Manager Damon Smith for a grand opening ceremony for Apple's Arizona Data and Global Command Center, 3740 S. Signal Butte Road.
Apple has invested $2 billion in its Global Data and Command Center, a 1.3 million square foot facility. This command center is the hub through which Apple monitors and controls the functions of all of its data centers worldwide. Apple has 1,100 employees in Arizona and supports 30,000 jobs statewide. . . "
