"Mesa Mayor John Giles was joined by Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, Apple Vice President of Global Real Estate and Facilities Kristina Raspe and Site Operations Manager Damon Smith for a grand opening ceremony for Apple's Arizona Data and Global Command Center, 3740 S. Signal Butte Road.
Apple has invested $2 billion in its Global Data and Command Center, a 1.3 million square foot facility. This command center is the hub through which Apple monitors and controls the functions of all of its data centers worldwide.
