UPDATE: Opportunities Abound Here in Downtown for Commercial Real Estate Office-Space

One of the many things your MesaZona blogger likes to do is to encourage growth for that mysterious thing in urban planning lingo called 'critical mass' that needs to increase here in The New Urban Downtown.
One way to do that is getting existing office-space leased out to either create jobs and/or attract principals of businesses to locate their workspace here, with an abundance of parking spaces if they don't choose to live downtown with easy access to Valley Metro Light Rail or the downtown complex.
Here's an update added to this post on Tue 18 July 2017 from the Mesa Office of Economic Development:

Here's the new location for the Mesa Chamber of Commerce located on the second floor in this view from the interior from the 2nd Floor walkways of the Downtown Center for Mesa Community College located at 165 N Centennial Way.
The Downtown Center is home to Fire Science/EMT program, Virtual Incident Command Center (VICC), and the MCC/NAU Connection, according to this source
The building is big with a big attached parking garage from 145-165 N Centennial Way ... commerce/college campus??
The new location for the Mesa Chamber of Commerce was not easy-to-find since there was no signage posted on a building directory or the doors and windows in the 2nd Floor new digs that's not exactly the stand-alone attraction hardly visible way over to the left of those two palms trees at street level.
Why this out-of-the way placement from a high-visibility site the Chamber occupied for years at 40 N Center Street?
Any leasing/rent agreements between MCC and the City - or the reasons - undisclosed.
Suite 108 Vet Resource Center
News of the move [if you want to call it that] arrived in an email last Wednesday with no reason given just saying 'now you know'. Apparently their lease was not renewed . . .
So let's leave it at that to some good news that came from the 'grapevine' that Suite 108, directly beneath Suite 208 at ground level that used to be the Recruitment Center for MCC or The Chair Academy will now house a resource center for veterans.
Let's see what the announced plans were back in May for the shuffle in locations to a college campus in downtown Mesa. Hmm
Published on May 22, 2017 Sally Harrison and Mark Young Talk Join the Show for This Month's Community Spotlight . . she realized we weren't doing enough for veterans here in Mesa and talked to a friend who used to work in ex-Congressman Matt Salmon's office ...they say they need funding ...but doesn't this all sound thrown together real-fast just a coincidence at the end of the fiscal year? . . .
